Col. Josiah Brown was born 12 Nov 1693 at Sudbury, Massachusetts,1, where he married, as her 1st husband, 14 Jan 1719/20, Beulah Stone of Sudbury, daughter of Daniel Stone and Patience Brown.2 A regimental commander in the colonial expedition against Canada, 17583,4, he died at Sudbury 19 Jun 1762, a. 68.5 There his widow married (2), 24 Nov 1763, Rev. Timothy/4a Minot of Concord.3,6
