Miriam Wright, perhaps born 8 Nov 17321, was of Springfield, Massachusetts when she married there (1), 22 Dec 1748, Joseph/3s Brooks Jr. of Northampton, son of Joseph/2s Brooks and Lydia/3 Warner.2,3 He died before 1768, when, of Greenfield, she married (2), 7 Jul at Northfield, Jonathan Sprague of Greenfield4,5, who died 13 Mar 1811.6 She died 14 Mar 1816 (g.s.), "a. 85,"7 and is buried with her 2nd husband in Gill.6

Tirzah/4s Brooks, born 10 Feb 1754 at Northfield, Massachusetts2,1, was probably the unnamed child of Joseph Brooks who died at Springfield 21 Sep 1758 per church record.3 A gravestone in Chicopee St. Burial Ground, Springfield, inscribed Joseph Brooks Child, gives a death date of 16 Sep 1758.4

Uriah ("Uri," "Eri")/4s Brooks, 2nd so-named, was born 8 Jul 1759, perhaps at Hadley, Massachusetts.2,1,3 He married (29 Mar 1783, Wilbraham per IGI), Hannah/5 Sikes, daughter of Joseph/4 Sikes and Hannah Wright.4,5 He is probably the Uri Brooks whose 1790 census household at Salem, Westchester, New York, included one male above 16, four males under 16, and three females.6 The 1800 census recorded the Eri Brooks household at Bridgewater, Oneida, New York.7 The Uri Brooks family removed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana Territory, where they were recorded in the 1810 and 1820 census.8,9 He died at Baton Rouge 25 Aug 1822, a. 63.10
