Bathsheba/3p Stetson was born at Duxbury (now Pembroke), Massachusetts.1 Perhaps the same who married, 22 Nov 1715 at Pembroke, William Holmes.2

Martha/3p Bisbee was born 13 Oct 1688 at Duxbury, Massachusetts (Savage), and baptised the 21st of the same month at the Second Church, Scituate.2,1 Of Pembroke, there she married, 16 Apr 1719, Thomas/4 White of Marshfield, son of Daniel/3 White and Hannah Hunt.3,4 He died at Hanover 31 Mar 1762.4

John Bisbey Jr. and brother Elisha were partners in the "Land Bank of 1740," which "involved about 1252 men, as shown in the Massachusetts archives, documents such as registry returns, alphabetical lists of the subscribers and those who paid their assessments; also news letters of 15 Nov. 1744 and 2 Jan. 1745. It was a scheme to attempt to issue a currency based on real estate. The parties interested were numerous enough to control the state House of Representatives for several years; and the towns voted in many instances to take land bank notes for town rates. This all happened less than 20 years after the 'South Sea Bubble' in England."2

Dea. John/3p Bisbee Jr., born 15 Sep 1690 at Duxbury, Massachusetts3, was baptised with 3 siblings at the Second Church, Scituate, 1696.1 Of Marshfield, he married, 31 Jan 1710/11 at Scituate, Mary Oldham of M.4 They were of Marshfield, 17145, then subsequently lived many years at Pembroke.2 John Bisbee named his son Jonah as administrator of his will, 1744.2 He died 2 Aug 1773, a. 822; his widow died in Aug 1775.2

Elijah/3p Bisbee was born 29 Jan 1691/92 at Duxbury, Massachusetts,according to Savage.2, and baptised with 3 siblings at the Second Church, Scituate, 1696.1 Of Pembroke, there he married, 4 Jun 1719, Eleanor Pierce of Pembroke.3,4 Justice of the peace, whose name with Esq. suffixed is seen in Plymouth County marriage records.5 He died 7 Sep 1743 (g.s.), a. 516,7, and his widow 4 Apr 1749, a. 49.8 They are buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, Plympton.6,8,9
