Children with Alice Whitbred:

Gerard/a Spencer was baptised 20 May 1576 at Stotfold, Bedfordshire.1 He married, 10 Nov 1600 at Upper Gravehurst, Alice Whitbred.1 "It seems quite possible that Gerard and his family moved from Stotfold some years before the emigration of his sons to New England; perhaps to London, where his brother Richard had become a prosperous haberdasher."1 He died before 1646.1

James Jordan

Child with an unknown spouse/person:

James Jordan was an inhabitant of Dedham, Massachusetts, probably by 1650.1,2 He died there 29 Apr 1655.3 His will, dated 24 Apr 1655, probated 1 Aug 1655, mentions son Thomas; daughter Mary, who was blind; and the five children of his daughter Anne, wife of Abraham Jacquith, late of Charles Towne, who received twenty shillings each.2,4 The inventory of his estate, dated 4 May 1655, was a modest £53.07.02.4

Anna Holbrook, born 4 Jan 1723/24 at Weymouth, Massachusetts1, there married (1), as his 2nd wife, 9 Aug 1749, Gilbert/4p Brooks Jr. of Scituate, son of Gilbert/3p Brooks and Elizabeth (–?–).2 He died, and she married (2), (int. 25 Mar 1758, Weymouth), Ebenezer Pratt. Anna Pratt died a widow at Weymouth 17 Aug 1809, a. 85.3

Sarah/5g Brooks was born 2 Feb 1742/43 at Bolton, Connecticut, and there baptised the 6th.2,1 Perhaps the Sarah Brooks who married, 1768 (Fair Haven Church rec., Glastonbury), John/5g Brooks Jr., son of Capt. John/4g Brooks and Mary Crofoot, although the groom, her 1st cousin, would have been 7 years younger.3
