Anthony/1? Dorchester married (1) Sarah (–?–), who died 8 Nov 1649 at Springfield, Massachusetts1, and (2), 2 Jan 1651, Martha Chapman, widow of Samuel Kitcherell.2,3 He was a juror in the paternity trial of Sgt. Samuel/2 Wright Jr., 24 Mar 1654.4 His 2nd wife Martha died at Springfield 17 Dec 1662.2 He was one of 16 petitioners for the establishment of a plantation at Stony River, now Suffield, Connecticut, presented to the General Court of Massachusetts Bay, May 1670, and granted the following year. "Not one of the petitioners became a settler, but many of them labored faithfully for more than ten years to fill the complement of settlers, as required by the Grant."5 He died at Springfield 28 Aug 1683.6
     Springfield's ancient "Book of Possessions" noted that Lt. Abel Wright of Springfield was possessed of certain lands by grant of his “father-in-law” Anthony/1? Dorchester. Abel Wright married Martha Kitcherell, daughter of Anthony Dorchester's 2nd wife.7

Joseph/4 Stebbins Jr. was born 4 Oct 1674 at Springfield, Massachusetts.2,1 There he married, "Febr. 29. 1699/1700" (no such date), Rebecca/3 Colton of Longmeadow, daughter of Isaac/2 Colton and Mary/2 Cooper.3 He drowned 29 Sep 1722 at age 47.

Isaac/2 Colton, born 21 Nov 1646 at Springfield, Massachusetts3,2, there married, as her 1st husband, 30 Jun 1670, Mary/2 Cooper, daughter of Lt. Thomas/1 Cooper and Sarah/1 Slye, with whom he had 9 children.4,5,6 He died 3 Sep 1700, a. 537, and his widow married, 1701, Edward/3 Stebbins.8
