Henry/1 Wolcott, baptised 6 Dec 1579 at Lidiard St. Lawrence, Somerset1, married, in England, Elizabeth Saunders.2 They emigrated to New England, 1630, on the Mary and John3, where he was included on a list of "such as desire to be made ffreemen" of Massachusetts Bay, 19 Oct 1630.4
     They were first settlers at Windsor, Connecticut5, where he was a deputy to the first general court of Connecticut, and elected to the House of Magistrates from 1643 until his death.1 15 Jun 1643, John/1g Brooks, evidently of Windsor, Connecticut, plaintiff, represented by "Henry Woolcott, Attorny," prevailed in an action against Thomas/1 Marshfield, and was awarded damages of "xil."6,7
     Henry died at Windsor 30 May 1655, "ae. 77,"3 and his wife 7 Jul 1655, a. 70.2,8 They are buried in Palisado Cemetery.9,10
