Daniel/6k Brooks III, born 1785 at Falmouth?, Maine1, was enumerated with his father at Falmouth in the 1790 census.2
He is a candidate to be the Daniel Brooks of Porter, Maine who was a resident there after 1802, although if Daniel's birth date is correct, he would have been a minor and thus unable to own property as early as 1802.3 The house of this Daniel Brooks was one of several dwellings in which the early residents of Porter held plantation meetings beginning in 1802.3
Daniel was dead before 10 Oct 1845, when his name was omitted from a list of surviving siblings in an affidavit by his brother Samuel.4
