Nathaniel/3g Cook III was born 6 Apr 1689 at Windsor, Connecticut1, where he married, 19 Feb 1717/18, Mary Brooks, probably his 1st cousin Mary/3g Brooks, daughter of Samuel/2g Brooks and Sarah ?Robbins.2 They removed to Amenia, New York in 17503, where he died 11 Jan 1752 (g.s.), a. 624, and she 4 Feb 1788 (g.s.), "ae. 88."5 They are interred in the Old Burying Ground, Amenia.6

Nathaniel/2 Cook, born in England, married, 29 Jun 1649 at Windsor, Connecticut, Lydia/2 Vore of Windsor, daughter of Richard/1 Vore and Ann Harris.2 Nathaniel and Lydia Cook were admitted to the church at Windsor, 29 Aug 1652.3 There he died 19 May 16884, and she 14 Jun 1698.5
     One of the first settlers of Windsor, where he was a freeman, 1650, he had a grant, 1672, of 40 acres on the east side of High Street, Suffield, but probably never settled there. His son Nathaniel probably did, for a short time, before returning to Windsor.6
