Martha Ann Littlefield, born 22 Feb 1834 at Wells, Maine2,3, married, 4 Oct 1855 at Alfred, Maine, Nathaniel/6k Brooks Jr., son of Rev. Nathaniel/5k Brooks and Hannah Moulton.2,4 The 1860 census recorded Nathaniel (a. 27, seaman, real estate $700, personal estate $100), Martha A. (a. 26), and sons George (a. 3) and William (a. 2) in their household at Wells.3 Nathaniel died at Wells 5 Feb 18705, and Martha 11 Feb 1911 (g.s.), a. 76.2 They are buried with his parents in Locust Grove Cemetery, Ogunquit, Maine.2

Elizabeth/6k Brooks, born circa 1817 at York, Maine1, married (1), 20 Mar 1836 (int. 4 Mar) at Watertown, Massachusetts, Charles Moore2,3, who died 3 May 1850 at Brighton, Massachusetts.4 She married (2), 5 Oct 1851 at Watertown, George Farrar5, and (3), 2 Jul 1868 at Charlestown, Job Curtis.6
     The 1870 census recorded Job Curtis (a. 47, pedler, real estate $1200, personal estate $200), Elizabeth (a. 49), and Job's son Enoch (a. 20, tanner) by a prior wife in their household at Woburn.7 In 1880 the household included Job (still a. 47, "huckster"), Elizabeth (a. 59), and Elizabeth's daughter Lillia Farrar ["Curtis"] (a. 21, tailoress).8
     Elizabeth died at Woburn between 1 Jan and 20 Nov 1885.9

     The 1850 census recorded their York household as George (a. 32, sailor), Lucy (a. 35), and four children aged 1-9. Next door was Nathaniel Brooks, farmer, probably George's father.5
     His wife Lucy died there 24 Jan 18556, and he married (2) (int. 16 Jun 1860, York) Mary Witham of York.7,8
     The 1860 census recorded George (a. 40, brakeman), wife Mary (a. 32), and three children of his 1st marriage (Lucy, Jane, and Elizabeth) in their household at York.9
     Their 1870 household included George (a. 53, fisherman), Mary (a. 44), two children (Martha, Elizabeth) of his 1st marriage, one child (George) of his 2nd marriage, and his father Nathaniel (a. 77, retired clergyman).1
     George died at York 20 Oct 1870, a. 54 (g.s.),2 and is buried there with his 1st wife.10

Lucy Hutchins, born in Maine circa 8 Jun 18151, was of York when she married there, as his 1st wife, 28 Nov 1839 (int. 23 Oct), George/6k Brooks of York, son of Rev. Nathaniel/5k Brooks and Hannah Moulton.2,3
     The 1850 census recorded their York household as George (a. 32, sailor), Lucy (a. 35), and four children aged 1-9. Next door was Nathaniel Brooks, farmer, probably George's father.4
     Lucy died at York 24 Jan 1855, "a. 39-7-16."1 Her husband remarried, fathered another son, and died 20 Oct 1870, a. 54.5 They are buried in York.6
