Ebenezer/3 Flagg was born 21 Dec 1678 at Woburn, Massachusetts1, where he married, 25 Dec 1700, Elizabeth/4 Carter of Woburn, daughter of Lt. John/3 Carter and Ruth Burnham.2 There he died 10 Jul 1746, a. 673, and is interred in the First Burial Ground.4
     "His father came to Woburn from Watertown. His son, Ebenezer, born 1704, graduated Harvard College, 1725; became minister at Chester, N.H., 1736; and died 1796. (Vide Sewall's Woburn, 612; Bond's Watertown Genealogies, 763, etc.)"5

Ezekiel/1 Richardson came from Westmill, Hertfordshire.3 He married in England, as her 1st husband, Susanna ?Bradford.4,5 Of Westmill, they sailed aboard the Winthrop Fleet, 1630, to New England, where his name appears at Charlestown, Massachusetts in that year, "11th of the first list of 13."6,7 Of first Charlestown and later Woburn, he was admitted a freeman of Massachusetts Bay 18 May 1631.8 Both joined the church gathered at Charlestown, 1630, which afterwards became the First Church in Boston; and both were dismissed from it, 11 Oct 1632, to form a new First Church in Charlestown, gathered in November following.9,10 After the banishment from the colony of Rev. Wheelwright and Anne Hutchinson, Ezekiel Richardson was granted, 15 Nov 1637, his request to cross out his signature on an earlier remonstrance supporting the dissenters.11 5 Nov 1640, the Church of Charlestown chose seven men, Ezekiel Richardson among them, as commissioners or agents for the erection of a church and town upon the recent grant of Charlestown Village, which became the town of Woburn.12
     "Will, 20 (5) 1647, pro. 1 (4) 1648, devises legacies to Josiah, James and Phebe; mentions brothers Thomas and Samuel; son Theophilus and wife exrs. Inventory: £183."7 He died at Woburn, 21 Oct 1647.13,1 His widow married (2) Henry/1w Brooks of Woburn.4,1
     "He was one of the three brothers Richardson, prominent in the first settlement of Woburn." His brother, Samuel Richardson, in a deed dated 27 Mar 1651, mentions my brother Ezekiel Richardson, our brother Thomas Richardson, and my sister, Susanna Brooks (who was wife of my deceased brother, Ezekiel Richardson).14' Wyman abstracts Ezekiel's extensive real estate dealings at 2:810.7
