Hannah/5 Strong, who was born 1 Sep 1742 at Northampton, Massachusetts2, married, by 1773, Capt. Jonathan/4s Brooks of Lanesborough, son of Joseph/3s Brooks and Mary/4 Bliss.3,2,4 Five children were recorded at Lanesborough between 1773 and 1784, though some may have been born elsewhere.3
     The 1790 census recorded a household of Jonathan, two males under 16, and three females.5 In 1800 they were found at Swanton, Vermont.6 Hannah died 13 Aug 1807 (g.s.), "65 yrs."4,7, and Jonathan 10 Sep 1820, "74 yrs."4,7 They are buried with their daughter Olive in Woods Hill (formerly known as Dorman) Cemetery, Swanton.7
