Samuel/5p Weston was born 11 Mar 1754 at Duxbury, Massachusetts1, where he married, 24 Mar 1778, Abigail/5p Bisbee of D., a 1st cousin, daughter of Aaron/4p Bisbee and Sarah/4 Soule.2 They removed from Duxbury to Warren, Maine, where she died 11 Apr 1817, a. 611, and he 13 Mar 1829, a. 75.1
     "Samuel Weston was a descendant of Pilgrim John Alden. He is reputed to have participated in the Boston Tea Party and was in the Revolutionary War."1

Calvin/4p Bisbee, a twin, was born 17 Dec 1738 at Pembroke, Massachusetts1, and baptised with his twin Luther 4 Feb 1738/39 at the First Church, Abington.2

Pvt. Luther/4p Bisbee, a twin, was born 17 Dec 1738 at Pembroke, Massachusetts,1, and baptised 4 Feb 1738/39 at the First Church, Abington, Massachusetts, with his brother Calvin.2 He was a Revolutionary private in Capt. Abraham Washburn's company, Col. Abiah Stearns's regiment; enlisted 11 Apr 1778, service 2 mos. 24 das. at Castle Island in Boston Harbor. Private Luther Bisbee, Capt. Nathan Smith's company, Col. Jacob's regiment, appears on a payroll for Nov 1778, service 1 mo. Luther Bisbee also appears on a list of men mustered in Plymouth Co. by James Hatch, Muster Master, Capt. James Allen's company, Col. Gates's regiment. "Residence Bridgewater, enlisted for town of Bridgewater, enlistment 9 mos. to expire Jan. 1st 1779."3
     With his brother Ebenezer he moved to Plainfield, Massachusetts as early as 1779.4 In the 1790 census Luther was a head of household at Cummington, Massachusetts, with 6 males and 2 females. Four males were aged 16-25; two were aged 10-16.5 He was a juror, 1794.6
