Sgt. Abraham/1 Doolittle, born in England circa 1620 (g.s.)1, came from England with the first New Haven colonists.2 His 1st wife, Joane Alling, died in 1661, and is buried in New Haven, location unknown.3 He married (2), 2 Jul 1663 at New Haven, Abigail Moss.4 They removed to Wallingford by 1669, where he was a leading citizen, sergeant of the trainband, and died 11 Aug 1690, Æ. 70.1 His widow died there 5 Nov 1710.5,6 They are buried in Center Cemetery.7
