Wolston/3 Brockway, born 5 Dec 1711 at Lyme, Connecticut,2, there married (1), 30 Sep 1736, Anna/4w Brooks of New London, daughter of Henry/3w Brooks and Eleph/3 Chappell.3
     He married (2), 24 Aug 1760 at Surry, New Hampshire, Esther Mack, daughter of John Mack and Love Bennett.4,5 On 4 Aug 1761, he bought land at Surry, and settled on lot 34 the following year. He was a tavern keeper in 1768.6
     11 Dec 1776, Woolston Brockway was one of four men, calling themselves the Committee from Marlow, Alstead and Surry, who petitioned the Provincial Congress of New Hampshire for elections in each of their towns as part of the process of forming a civil government.7
     He died at Surry 3 Oct 1789, a. 77, leaving a widow and 87 children, grand and great-grandchildren.8,5 His widow died there in Dec 1797, "75th yr." (g.s., actually a. 72).9,5 He is buried with his 2nd wife in Surry Village Cemetery.10,5
